South East Water Scientific Services’s are fully equipped and accredited to test for legionella and other related microorganisms.

We will provide you with sample containers, logs and labels. We can also arrange collections for you or even carry out the sampling on your behalf.

Results are emailed through to specified addresses and hard copies can be forwarded if required.

Details of samples failing acceptable levels are emailed to the customer immediately. In addition, legionella plates are incubated for 10 days. Plates are checked on days 3, 6, 8 and any presumptive growths are notified to the customer. Presumptive growths are tested further and if confirmed are also reported immediately.
